wow, very nice car
especially the headlights are nice, it´s one light: headlight and parking light
is it a special detomaso part or tuning part or daihatsu original part?
and the sideskirts and backbumper??

in german: was sind das für scheinwerfer? sehen richtig geil aus und da ich min. einen brauche :gruebel:

diese scheinwerfer hätte ich auch gerne. und dann noch klarglas-blinker und die hammergeilen seitenschweller

Yes they are the charade detomaso headlights , only with a modded lightbulb so it gives a straight line on the test machine and doesnt blind the upcomming traffic.
Normally they are only for Right hand drive applications.

Sideskirts and rear bumper spoiler are aftermarket , Progress europe made them.

Its hard tho to find aftermarket parts that suit the charade , im glad i work for a local daihatsu dealer. That does make things a little easier.
Especially with the parts from the deto charade.

@ power-gamer you can order them trough your local daihatsu dealer , i can give you the part numbers.
But rememer that they are "illegal" in countries where they drive on the right side of the road.
So you have to mod the lightbulbs and have to use the proper equipment to adjust them.
btw they where cheaper then the original single units :D

bitte gib mir die nummer für die headlights. ich würde die gerne bestellen. vielleicht noch nicht gleich, aber im sommer will ich sie einbauen. was muss ich daran verändern? kannst mir das gerne alles per email schreiben. felix-meier@gmx.de :D

Yeah its a G201 , the roof antenna is just an aftermarket one.
The skirts are no longer available , i bought the last 2 sets from them.
I will double check on that btw to make sure they havent found more , coz they thought they had more but they couldnt find them anywhere. :?

The light bulbs are easy to modify , they have 3 metal pieces that keeps the bulbs in place.

Cut or grind those down so that they become about a mm wide , so you can turn the bulb when its in place.
Dont cut them down all the way or the bulb will fall in the unit or loose support.
Practice on some cheap H4 bulbs :wink:
And i cant remember for sure , but i thought you should turn the bulb clockwise.
After that adjust the level and it should be a straight line on a test machine.
No idea if you pass the yearly tuv test in germany with them , so be prepared to remove your front bumper and headlamp units every year!

Part numbers:
L side 81150-87F83 costs 166,80 excluding tax
R side 81120-87790 costs 172,36 excluding tax
Prices should be the same in Germany.
Your dealer probably cant order them through the normal way they order parts coz they are unknow numbers , ask them to send the numbers by email to Daihatsu Germany.

The mounting spots are different , my G201 had holes to mount them in the new spots.
I cant be sure all the G20# type 1 has them , but i do think so.
So dont blame me if they dont fit :D

And power-gamer
It has an uprated cam from Rospen motorsport, full exhaust , upped the fuel pressure a bit and the engine has a slightly bigger bore (overzise).
On the dyno the power was still rising when the rev limiter came in , so i only made 120hp.
Should be more with the 1.3 ecu.

Ich muss leider auf Deutsch schreiben denn mein English ist mehr als schlecht und Holländisch konnte ich mal aber naja jetzt nur noch schweinkram sprechen aber nicht schreiben ;-)

Erst mal Wilkommen hier im Forum und viel spaß hier und auch mit deinem Auto.
Ist echt schick der wagen und steckt auch viel arbeit drin hut ab.
Vielleicht haben wir ja mal die Möglichkeit das Prachtstück im August auf underem Daihatsu Treffen zu bewundern.
