I guess this is quite normal for drum brakes used in reverse.


When braking, this type of brakes wears out a bit so that the friction parts fit together very exactly and uniquely. When they are then used the opposite direction than normal, that causes sometimes noises and can also result in less powerful braking.


That is normal for drum brakes and not related to any damage.


To calm you, you can remove the rear whels and the outer part which closes the brake drum and see if everything is fine. But normally the rear brake drums last as long as the rest of the Cuore...
